Success, again… unsurprisingly.
We arrived on Tuesday morning to talk about Finao and how awesome they are (they REALLY are). And it was so much fun to connect with everyone there and talk about both Finao and of course, photography. The photographers at this Bebbinar were golden! All of them caught our eye and their work – phenomenal! The photographer whose work that boldly caught my eye – Alan Maudie. Fabulous work.
I believe everyone walked away moved and inspired. Just watching Steve and Jen made me remember how truly fortunate we all are that they would open themselves, helping us to see, smell, taste and touch what could be achieved with dedication and a teachable mind. Our work as photographers is “heart” work, I say that because to truly reach those check points we’ve now plotted out with our goals, we need to constantly purge and probe within ourselves and not lose sight of where we’re running to. We have many hats doing this profession but one day Ral and I will be parents and seeing Jen and Steve pave the way and set an example of what real priorities look like brings us back down to earth. I realize I’m all over the place, I’ve seriously learned so much hanging out at v.2… getting a chance to invest in the lives of our peers was such a privilege and we feel more grounded after our attendance there. We are greatly thankful for what the Bebbs have done to challenge us, that has been the biggest investment in our business.
Here are some shots I took with Steve’s 20D (I completely forgot my camera at home) as these great photographers did their shoot with the Bebbs (and yes, I couldn’t help myself – the model was gorgeous so I had to take a few):
Steve and Jen! Congratulations. We knew 2 years ago that you are THE Best and after seeing another Bebbinar challenge and change our peers – that just reinforces it!
